Minnesota Environments app for iPhone and iPad

Minnesota Environments explores the interesting people, places, and episodes that make up Minnesotas environmental history. Each point on the GIS-enabled map includes historical information about the site, with texts, images, and audio and video clips. The app also offers curated historical tours of local areas that can be accessed on your smartphone. Minnesota Environments is a collaborative project sponsored by Carleton College, Macalester College, and the Minnesota Historical Society, and it is being developed by the joint efforts of faculty, students, and staff at each of these institutions.
